class AccelerationEngine(domain_name, engine_name, bases=(), /)

Bases: object

An accelerated re-implementation of (a subset of) the functionality in a domain.

Create an engine named engine_name for the existing domain domain_name.

domain_name may be the module the domain is named after, an AccelerationDomain, or its name. An engine already has to import the domain it accelerates, so passing the module avoids repeating that name as a string.

Parameters:

• domain_name (str | ModuleType | AccelerationDomain)

• engine_name (str)

• bases (Sequence[Self | str])

materialize()

Declare that this engine has completely specified its overrides.

This will lock in this engine’s overrides, composing them with its bases and the domain.

Return type:

None

override(func=None, /, *, name=None)

Register func as this engine’s override for a domain candidate.

Parameters:

• func (Callable | str | None)

• name (str | None)
